I'm Madi
I'm so honored you're here.
Born and raised in Midwest Kansas, I'm a 27 year old creative that holds many titles. When I was 21, I married the love of my life, Dylan, and we started our forever. We recently welcomed our first son into the world, along with the adoption of our 11 year-old daughter. I live for the simple, in-between moments. When I'm not behind a lens, you'll find me spending my time home-making. I live a slow-paced lifestyle, working hard to make the most out of being a wife and mama, tending to my farm animals, cooking, and spending time with Jesus.
2024 marks three years in the wedding + lifestyle industry, and I look forward to what this year brings me. Documenting life + love has been oh so beautiful and rewarding, so I'm glad that you are here to learn more about what we can create together.

what inspires me
its the intimate moments for me

I began photographing out of the necessity to create beauty in dry places. I had quit my full-time teaching position and yearned for connection – I aim to tell each story as my own, to be authentic with every client, and to create imagery that immortalizes your season of life.
My desire is for you to walk away from our experience together feeling fully seen. I want our time together to feel as if I'm an old friend, authentic and true.
I'm a self-proclaimed wallflower, my style reflects one of my greatest qualities. You will find lots of candid moments shared with the people you love, added with a touch of nostalgic. Think of flipping through your grandmother's albums, what feelings does it bring? I desire to capture those same moments so you can relive them for generations to come.

I'm notorious for romantisizing the mundane moments of my life. Whether I'm failing at sourdough recipes, cooking dinner for my family before we gather around the table, living out a childhood dream of mine riding horses, spending mornings with a cup of coffee and Jesus, or thrifting for forgotten goods, I want to make the most of the time I have been given.
As I journey to discover beauty, wonder, and joy, I do that with my husband and children in tow. Quality time is my love language, and I will never turn down a family movie night or early morning coffee date. If I'm not documenting someone else's story, I'm adding to my own.
I am a true type B, quirky, introverted wallflower that would be absolutely honored to witness the love to be had in your life.

My vision for your day is this: I want our time together to feel like I'm an old friend-casual, intentional, and memorable. Because your story deserves nothing less. Let's turn on your favorite music and allow space for meaningful moments. I'll give direction where it's needed, but otherwise I prefer to watch the day play out, to allow you to be yourselves. I have zero expectations of how you should react, I'm here to take it all in alongside you.
No story is the same and I want to honor that as much as possible. As your photographer, the greatest honor I have is photographing your day based on what you FEEL. I want you photos to be a reflection of an experience to be had.
Expect me to arrive at first light to capture your mom shedding a tear or two while she helps you step into the dress of your dreams. Or sneaking in on the groom shaking with a bit of nerves, prepping to see his love walk down the aisle. To watch your dad give away his daughter, and see the oo's and ah's of your guests gasping at your beauty.
I'm here to take photographs of your day that make you feel.
MY Philosophy
First + foremost, I want you to feel fully seen, and completely heard.
Whether it's a large wedding, intimate ceremony, anniversary, couples session, or lifestyle session with your family, I want our time together to feel like your with an old friend-casual, intentional, memorable. My focus is not having every detail perfect, but rather about the connections to be had and telling your unique story in an honest way. No story is the same and I'll do my best to know yours as my own, because they are sacred and oh so special. I desire our time together to leave space for real life, meaningful interactions, and lots of love.
